Daily Beauty Regimen for Young Skin
For women in their 20s, a basic beauty regimen of cleansing, toning and moisturizing is essential. If you have some specific problems like acne, blackheads or oily skin, then you need to address these specific issues too. Given below is a step-by-step skincare regimen for smooth and soft skin.
Cleansing- Wash your face twice a day with a good cleanser. Avoid soap at all costs and invest in a face wash instead. If you have normal to dry skin, then wash your face and neck with a foaming facial cleanser, and if you have oily skin, choose an oil free gel cleanser.
Toning- After cleansing your skin, the next step is to apply a toner. Choose an alcohol free toner that contains natural astringents like witch hazel extract or chamomile essence. A toner will help to remove any dirt or oil from your skin's pores and also restore your skin's pH balance.
Moisturizing- Using a good moisturizer is very important to keep your skin hydrated and supple. Women with normal to dry skin should opt for a heavier moisturizer, which contains ingredients like niacinamide and ceramides that deeply moisturizes the skin. Women who have oily skin should stick to lighter water based moisturizers or mattifying that will hydrate skin without making your skin look oily. Moisturize at least twice a day immediately after having a shower, as it will lock the moisture in your skin.
Exfoliating- A very important step in skin care is exfoliation. Exfoliate your skin once a week with a natural scrub that contains soft granules.
